Wolverhampton to Codsall (9.5 miles) 22/01/20

We left Wolverhampton station to join the Staffs & Worcester canal which we followed before joining the Shropshire canal .

One unusual sight we didnt expect to find on the canal was a rug and small settee only missing the standard lamp on the side of towpath the fisherman round there must enjoy there home comforts.

After a short lunch stop we left the canal to join the Monarchs way crossing muddy fields ,at a junction of paths we decided against joining the Staffs way and walked down the road to rejoin it due to flooded fields the rest of the walk along staffs way into Codsall was pretty much hard surface

We arrived at around 2pm and after refreshments we made our way back
