Pype Hayes to Sutton Coldfield, 5 miles ish (02/05/24)

An unusual start to a walk, traveling on a West Midlands bus from Brm to Pype Hayes. Met Adrian Dulson, here. We did a lap of the Plants brook nature reserve. Saw a couple of baby coots still in their nests.

We crossed into Pype Hayes park where we were fortunate to see a young cygnet riding on it's mother's back. 

Lunch on a couple of benches in the flower garden. We followed the Plants Brook to Sutton where we sat in the beer garden of The Duke pub. Good to be joined by John Roberts.

Some members left a bit early to get to Villa Park to see their team get a jolly good thrashing by the Greeks.
