Travelled on the 1030 train from Birmingham to Henley in Arden when we were joined by Hugh and Ros Jones. This was an easy 6.5 mile circular but it really was a' Lull between the storms' Walk. Underfoot conditions were seriously wet, in fact more so than muddy but there were long sections of quiet tarmac that offered respite. We almost completed the walk reasonably dry but were caught in a heavy shower towards the end of the walk.
With the very wet weather we are having, I reckon we got away with having a reasonably enjoyable walk. Refreshments and laughter were enjoyed in Henley before travelling back on various trains.
