Shardlow to Long Eaton  8 miles

Walkers will need to make there way to Derby station for 1050 catching the 1100 bus from outside station main entrance to Shardlow 

The walk is flat apart from a footbridge over the railway and involves mainly lanes and paths and   follows  the old Derby canal route to the  Erewas canal  

The walk ends at the Sawley junction for refreshments opposite Long Eaton station where you can catch your train home .
